Richard Pakleppa

Born in 1961 in Namibia, Namibian writer, director and producer Richard Pakleppa has directed and produced documentaries and fiction films in Southern Africa since 1990. His work has been screened at international film festivals and broadcast in many countries. He is the winner of the Best Documentary Award of the Southern African Film Festival in 2000 and is a founding member and Director of On Land Productions since 1992. Richard Pakleppa today lives and works in Cape Town (South Africa).
