Dali Tambo

Dali began his career in film and television in the UK, where he was in exile for 30 years and worked on productions such as Richard Attenborough’s ‘Cry Freedom’, and BBC Documentary, ‘Nelson Mandela, In His Own Words’. He returned to South Africa in 1990, and launched his first talk-show, ‘Night Moves’ for Mnet; the popular SABC series ‘People of the South’ followed. Dali produced several documentaries including a 2 part series, “Thabo Mbeki-Renaissance Man“; “IMhabazane-The Life and Times of Mangosuthu Buthelezi’ (2002); and the ‘History of South African Political Parties’, a 13 part documentary series broadcast on SABC2 which included 6 episodes of the ‘History of the ANC’.
