This impressionistic documentary chronicles the obsession of the filmmaker with her mentor, who disappeared from her life several years ago. Unable to give up on her search, she finds herself trapped in archival recordings of a series of lectures that he gave. The result is a fractured meditation on friendship, love, loneliness, and the creative process.
