My name is Mihlali Qolo, born and raised in the rough streets of Khayelitsha, where my love and interest for documentary filmmaking peaked because of the impact it does for people who don’t have the voice or platform. This year I embarked on the DOCi journey which has been amazing.
DOCi - Emerging Filmmakers Programme is a community-oriented program designed to reach previously-disadvantaged young people. The course is a full time, fully immersive, programme run over 11 weeks.
