Jessie Zinn is a filmmaker from Cape Town. Her short films have screened at international film festivals, including Visions Du Reel, BFI Film Festival, Encounters, Durban International Film Festival, and MoMA doc fortnight.
In 2017 she was named a ‘Marie Claire Future Shaper’ in partnership with Marie Claire Magazine, and in 2018 she made it onto the Mail & Guardian ‘200 Young South African’ list. She is an alumnus of the Visions Du Reel Pitching Forum (2017), the Durban Film Mart (2017, 2019), and Durban Talents (2018).
