Godfrey Pendaka

Mabasa Godfrey, who is also known as Godfrey Pandeka, was born at Malamulele in Limpopo in 1990. He completed his matric in 2009. He enrolled at the University of Limpopo (Turfloop campus) for a Bachelor of Arts in Media studies in 2012. While writing articles for the Daily Sun newspaper as a freelance journalist in 2013, he earned the name Godfrey Pandeka thanks to Daily Sun before joining Malamulele FM as news reader, current affairs producer and news reporter effectively from January 2015.

He joined the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement as Science and Technology Youth Journalist intern in March 2016 and hosted by the Sekhukhune Community Radio.

I am privileged to have been exposed to different industries and to have held various roles in my four years’ career particularly now as Marketing and communication officer at Department Higher Education and Training. I have gained invaluable experience and have been afforded incredible learning opportunities that have led to my depth of knowledge on developing and implementing communications, public relations, media, marketing, brand and event strategies and campaigns.
