Erin Davis

Erin Davis, son of late jazz icon Miles Davis, is a Los Angeles-based musician/producer/composer who heads Davis Artists Group and runs Miles Davis Properties, LLC along with his sister (Cheryl Davis) and his cousin (Vince Wilburn, Jr.). He has also toured and recorded with Miles Davis.

Davis is a regular participant on industry panels taking place at the GRAMMY Museum, SXSW and CMJ, in addition to partnering with Apple for their “Meet The Musicians” series at Apple SoHo. He is also co-host of the annual Miles Davis House day party at SXSW, with his cousin Vince Wilburn, Jr, and takes a leading role in curating the musical line-up. Additionally, he is an Executive Producer on the feature film “Miles Ahead” film starring Don Cheadle and Ewan McGregor.

His music credits include producing the original music for the Richard Pryor documentary “Omit The Logic,” which won a NAACP Award for “Best Documentary,” along with the 50 Cent flick “Caught In The Cross Fire,” among others.

Previously, Davis was a drummer for the EMI Records recording group Bloodline, an all-star rock group featuring the offspring of famous musicians, including GRAMMY-nominated blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa.
